Job summary

MSA Safety Inc. is seeking an entry-level EHS Specialist to join our global safety program near Cranberry Township. You will perform risk assessments, inspections, document findings, and support incident management to ensure regulatory compliance across sites.

Requirements include a BS in EHS or related field; OSHA 30 or ASP preferred; strong English communication and collaborative skills. Travel 20–30% to support multiple locations; contribute to sustainability initiatives and training

Qualifications

• Requires a B.S. in EHS, Occupational Health, Environmental Management or related discipline.
• GSP or ASP and OSHA 30 Hour certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine safety risk assessments, investigations, inspections; document findings.
• Track health and safety performance metrics and KPI trends; develop risk reduction measures.
• Manage workplace incidents, medical treatment, and recordkeeping.
• Coordinate regulatory compliance and EHS audits (internal/ external).
• Develop and deliver safety trainings; maintain SDS and chemical compliance.
• Drive sustainability projects focused on waste reduction, energy efficiency, and resource conservation.
• Coordinate waste management programs, including hazardous and non-hazardous waste compliance.
• Partner with leadership to enhance EHS culture, compliance, and performance.
