Job summary

Mdaturbines is seeking an experienced EHS professional to ensure safety compliance across MD&A projects. The role involves coordinating safety training, evaluating crane/rigging operations, and supporting incident investigations for widespread sites.

Extensive domestic travel (70-85%) and some international travel (10%) are required, with work-from-home options across the continental US. Robust technical writing and data documentation skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant safety experience with credentials (ASP, CSP, OHST, CSST or CHST or equivalent).
• Safety-related technical experience with cranes, rigging and LOTO procedures.
• Experience in preparing/evaluating critical lift plans preferred.
• Power plant experience a plus.
• Bi-lingual a plus; TWIC holder or ability to obtain TWIC.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with MD&A EHS processes and government requirements.
• Coordinate safety training, education, and customer-specific courses.
• Oversee safety documentation, record retention, and incident investigations.
• Coordinate outage site evaluations and IH monitoring as needed.
• Collaborate with Operations Managers, Project Managers, Field Engineers and Superintendents.
• Lead or support safety improvement projects and the Mitti program.
