You will partner with engineering, CAD and IT/IS to build scalable, reliable environments that support semiconductor development across sites worldwide.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive experience in EDA/CAD infrastructure engineering for semiconductor development.
• Strong scripting and automation, especially Python and shell.
• Experience with LSF or similar distributed compute environments.
• Experience with Perforce Helix and IPLM.
• Experience with engineering project/workspace management.
• Understand compute, storage, and network requirements for EDA.
• Experience with EDA licensing (FlexNet).
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Production‑quality engineering automation development.
• Ability to collaborate across global engineering, CAD and IT/IS.
• Strong technical documentation and knowledge transfer.

Aufgaben

• Provide global leadership for EDA compute infrastructure.
• Develop and support Linux-based engineering environments.
• Work with IT/IS on compute, storage, networking and server requirements.
• Support interactive and batch compute environments.
• Contribute to infrastructure capacity planning and roadmaps.
• Troubleshoot complex compute and engineering environments.
• Develop automation to improve reliability and reduce manual administration.
• Own and evolve engineering project/workspace architecture.
• Develop project/workspace creation and initialization mechanisms.
• Ensure consistent environment setup globally across projects and sites.
• Develop interfaces between project configuration, PDKs, EDA tools and workflows.
• Provide extensible mechanisms for customization while maintaining standard platform.
• Reduce manual intervention in project setup and lifecycle management.
• Provide EDA license‑server infrastructure leadership and automation.
