Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) based in Louisville, Kentucky, seeks a Global Ecumenical Liaison to connect US diaspora communities with international ecumenical partners. The role leads cross‑cultural collaboration, interprets PCUSA policies, and supports regional and global ecumenical ministries.

You will work with the Stated Clerk and partners to advance global outreach, ensuring faithful representation, strategic engagement, and mission alignment across diverse networks.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• 4 years of cross-cultural or international ministry experience.
• Strong faith commitment and Christian witness in Reformed tradition.
• Sense of calling to this position.
• Understanding of PCUSA constitution and ecumenical witness.
• Knowledge of and commitment to PCUSA policies and practices.
• Languages appropriate to the region; ability to engage diverse partners.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and oral communication; strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team and build relationships across cultures.

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement strategy for active regions globally, including the United States.
• Create spaces for information sharing and decision-making among partners and PCUSA constituents.
• Stay informed of global events and interpret partner life to PCUSA constituencies.
• Represent PCUSA to international partners and ecumenical entities; connect with Mid Councils.
• Monitor financial disbursements to partners per grants policy and provide support with systems.
• Assist in developing security and humanitarian plans for specified regions.
• Maintain home base in the United States while supporting diaspora communities and global partners.
