Job summary

Atlantic Council’s GeoEconomics Center is seeking a motivated intern to support data visualization, research and program logistics in Washington, DC. The role involves assisting with social media, publications, and event planning while gaining exposure to economic policy topics and international affairs.

You will work closely with staff, contribute to newsletters and infographics, and develop practical skills in research, communication, and project coordination in a fast-paced policy environment.

Qualifications

• At least a college sophomore in good standing or recent college graduate in international economics, finance, public policy, or a relevant discipline.
• Strong analytical, planning, time management, and organizational skills.
• Strong writing and research skills or demonstrated aptitude.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to identify and work through challenges using sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with logistical and administrative duties for GeoEcon Center programming.
• Assist in daily production of social media posts across multiple platforms.
• Assist in creation of GeoEcon Center data visualizations.
• Assist in publication and maintenance of GeoEcon Center’s online products.
• Assist with editing and preparation of research briefs and other publications.
• Collaborate on event planning and day-of-event management.
• Conduct ad hoc research tasks to support the activities of the GeoEcon Center.
