Qualifications

• 8+ years building large-scale backend systems in Java, Golang, C++, Python, or equivalent.
• At least 2+ years of people management experience.
• Experience with customer-facing commerce experiences (checkout, orders, payments, post-purchase).
• Proven ability to lead engineering teams and set technical direction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a backend engineering team of 8–10 engineers, providing both technical leadership and people management.
• Own architecture and delivery of large-scale backend services for critical commerce experiences.
• Design and build highly available distributed systems powering high-volume transactions and post-purchase journeys.
