Job summary

Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, a prominent U.S. law firm, seeks an e-Billing Manager to oversee global e-Billing tasks, ensure client guideline compliance, and lead the e-Billing team with training and development.

Based in New York, this role offers a hybrid work model (KattenFlex) with onsite work two days per week and opportunities to drive process improvements and analytics across matter invoicing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance; 10+ years ebilling in Am Law 100 firm.
• Five+ years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with Elite and/or Aderant time and billing software and e-Billing Hub.
• Advanced MS Office skills; strong analytical and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct onboarding of new e-Billing clients within the firm’s e-Billing technology solution (e-Billing Hub).
• Direct the periodic maintenance of each e-Billing client’s guidelines within the e-Billing Hub solution.
• Develop and maintain documentation on e-billing procedures ensuring client requirements are met.
• Ensure timely attention to e-bill rejections minimizing write-offs and lost revenues.
• Develop procedures for timely communication of client short payments and exceptions.
• Lead on onboarding, including training on all software platforms and policies.
• Mentor staff and ensure e-billing team stays current with technology and procedures.
• Prepare reports on e-billing volume and submission metrics.
