Job summary

PCI Pharma Services in San Diego is seeking a Sr. Project Manager I to lead custom Drug Product projects for key clients.

You will develop project plans and timelines, manage budgets and resources, and coordinate cross-functional internal and external teams to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to quality standards. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in Biotech/Pharma or a CMO, strong MS Office skills, and proven leadership and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred in life sciences or business.
• 7+ years in Biotech/Pharma or CMO; 4+ years in Project Management.
• Strong computer skills: MS Office suite; familiarity with MS-Project.

Responsibilities

• Develop project timelines and track contract deliverables.
• Host project meetings to update clients and internal teams.
• Communicate across functional groups to keep schedules and scope clear.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans with options and impact statements.
• Manage client visits and ensure adherence to budgets and scope.
• Monitor deviations and resolve to protect deliverables and timelines.
• Ensure projects meet time, budget, scope and quality standards.
• Lead cross-functional project teams and mentor junior PMs as needed.
• Drive product cost management and continuous improvement for repeat business.
• Forecast revenue-generating activities for assigned projects.
• Support business improvement initiatives and cross-account consistency.
