Job summary

PCI Pharma Services in San Diego, CA is seeking a Project Manager I/II to lead cross-functional teams on custom Drug Product projects. You will develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk assessments, while coordinating with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-scope delivery.

The role requires 3–5+ years in Biotech/Pharma or a CMO and a Bachelor's degree, with strong MS Office skills and experience with MS-Project or Smartsheet.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in a life sciences or business discipline preferred.
• 3-5+ years of experience in Biotech/Pharma or CMO; 0-2+ years in Project Management.
• Strong computer skills, MS Office, MS Word, MS PowerPoint. MS-Project and/or Smartsheet is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of biotech or drug product development and multi-project planning and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Develop project timelines and track contract deliverables.
• Host project meetings to provide status updates to clients and cross-functional teams.
• Communicate with client and all functional groups to keep schedules aligned.
• Identify project issues and develop risk assessments with proposed solutions.
• Host client visits and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and scope.
