Job summary

Amazon’s TRC DOT team seeks a high-performing Risk Manager to support regulated transportation programs in a global environment. The role collaborates with compliance leads and business partners to develop controls meeting regulatory requirements and reduce risk for Amazon's over-the-road operations worldwide.

The candidate should be analytical, with strong judgment, able to communicate across all levels and drive efficiencies while managing change.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 3+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience.
• Experience handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mechanisms that support Amazon's motor carrier operating authorities.
• Build relationships with internal TRC and transportation business teams and support cross-functional mechanisms that support timely regulatory filings and reports.
• Deliver regulatory guidance to Amazon transportation businesses and internal stakeholders to support compliance with DOT regulations and policies.
• Succinctly convey complex problems in easy to digest terms for all stakeholders, using data to support your analysis and conclusions.
• Deliver strategies to improve our compliance programs that consider and balance stakeholder deliverables and critical path items.
• Communicate clearly and succinctly (writing and verbal) to a wide variety of audiences and business leadership.
• Demonstrable excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
