Job summary

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is hiring a Global Donation Operations Associate to ensure timely processing of donations and accurate donor records. You will import/export data, perform quality controls, and support reporting for fundraising objectives while collaborating with Finance, fundraising, and technology teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum: 2 years of clerical/admin support positions.
• Preferred: 2 years in fundraising, development operations, advancement services or customer service in a non-profit.
• Demonstrated accuracy and discretion handling confidential information.
• Strong MS Office skills and ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and vendors.
• Organized, capable of multitasking, and able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Batch, scan, process, and deposit daily donations (checks, cards, etc.).
• Create and update donation records and ensure data integrity.
• Review quality control reports and develop new ones as needed.
• Perform daily data hygiene tasks and handle data imports/exports.
• Coordinate with caging vendor for entry and processing of donations.
• Collaborate with Supporter Care to update gifts per donor requests.
• Fulfill refund and chargeback requests as received.
• Build reports to support fundraising objectives and participate in special projects.
