Job summary

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) in New York is seeking a Global Donation Operations Associate to ensure accurate donation processing and records. The role supports daily batching, scanning, data imports/exports, and quality controls to maintain donor data integrity and timely reporting.

Two days in the office and three days of remote work are expected, with collaboration across Finance, Fundraising, and external partners to optimize donor experiences and reporting accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of clerical/admin support.
• Prefer 2 years in fundraising, nonprofit operations, or customer service.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
• Excellent computer skills with MS Word and Excel.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Batch, scan, process, and deposit daily donations (checks, cards).
• Create and update donation records.
• Review quality control reports and develop new reports.
• Perform data hygiene tasks daily.
• Complete incoming department cases and data imports/exports.
• Coordinate with caging vendor for smooth entry of donations.
• Collaborate with Supporter Care to update donor requests.
• Fulfill refund and chargeback requests as needed.
