Job summary

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Atlanta, GA is hiring a Development Specialist to support unrestricted fundraising efforts across Atlanta, Tallahassee, and Miami. You will track donors in Salesforce, assist with annual appeals, and help coordinate events and volunteer activities.

The role requires collaboration with Grants Coordinator and Development Supervisor, and offers a mix of office, remote, and field time. A Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in nonprofit management, business or public administration with fundraising concentration.
• Minimum of one year professional work experience required.
• Experience with Salesforce donor management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with annual appeals, monthly solicitation and cultivation materials.
• Conduct donor research and prepare briefing materials for meetings with major funders.
• Support events planning and logistics, including donor tracking and volunteer support.
• Maintain donor databases and donations processing in Salesforce.
• Prepare and manage monthly volunteer reports and Segmented donor portfolios.
