Job summary

Origin Media Network is hiring a Head of Global Distribution & Syndication to build the next major growth engine for our premium content catalogue. You will lead efforts to expand distribution beyond YouTube across FAST, CTV, licensing, localization and international markets.

You should bring 8+ years in digital media distribution, strong relationships with major platforms, and a proven track record of negotiating licensing deals.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in digital media distribution, streaming, FAST, TV licensing, syndication, or platform partnerships
• Existing relationships with decision-makers at major streaming platforms, FAST services, publishers, broadcasters, and distributors
• Personally negotiated meaningful content licensing or distribution deals
• Deep understanding of FAST, AVOD, SVOD, CTV, content windowing, licensing, and international distribution
• Strong commercial instincts and comfortable owning negotiations
• Equally comfortable with strategy and actually getting things launched
• High agency and excited to build a function from the ground up

Responsibilities

• Build our distribution strategy outside YouTube
• Develop partnerships with streaming platforms, FAST services, publishers, broadcasters, and distributors
• Negotiate licensing and distribution deals
• Launch FAST and CTV channels
• Turn our existing library into new formats, packages, and revenue streams
• Expand our content internationally through licensing and localization
• Build systems to maximize the lifetime revenue of every piece of content we produce
• Build the distribution team as the business scales
