Job summary

Dow Jones seeks a senior leader to build and own the audience growth, channel architecture and monetization strategy for a new network across YouTube, connected TV, FAST, podcasts and vodcast platforms.

You will lead pre-launch and ongoing efforts, collaborate with Programming, Sales, Product, Editorial and Finance, and translate audience insight into packaging, performance and revenue decisions while scaling the business and maintaining journalistic trust.

Qualifications

• 8+ years across audience development, platform strategy, digital-video growth or monetization with depth in YouTube.
• Experience with major platform or publisher enabling digital-video scale.
• Fluency in YouTube discovery and performance; knowledge of connected TV and FAST.

Responsibilities

• Determine the YouTube channel architecture and how the portfolio works together across channels.
• Lead and operate Dow Jones' YouTube presence with best-in-class practices.
• Develop long-term audience growth strategy across YouTube, connected TV, FAST and podcasts.
• Serve as liaison with YouTube and strategic platforms to guide programming and monetization.
• Build audience flywheel across episodes, clips and cross‑promotion.
• Establish packaging standards for titles, thumbnails, hooks and opening seconds.
• Lead rapid testing cycles for format iterations.
• Partner with senior leaders to bring audience sizing and market fit into greenlight.
• Set and lead the video monetization strategy across advertising, sponsorships and direct revenue.
• Build the subscription funnel from open-viewing to paid subscribers.
• Define metrics and reporting cadence for leadership to act on.
• Scale audience and distribution function as the business grows.
