Husqvarna Professional Products, Inc. seeks a Director of Strategic Sourcing to lead the finished goods procurement strategy. You will manage supplier relationships, guide OEM transition projects, and drive total cost of ownership improvements across product categories.

Responsibilities include contract negotiations, supplier governance, and cross-functional collaboration with product, marketing, engineering, and supply chain teams to deliver aggressive cost, quality and delivery targets.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years in high-volume manufacturing with at least 6 years in strategic sourcing.
• Experience with lean manufacturing/Six Sigma methodologies preferred.
• Strong leadership with global team-building experience.
• Finished goods sourcing at corporate level including high-growth regions.
• Proven success in large contract negotiations and contract management.
• Proficient in evaluating supplier performance and implementing TCO-based decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and manage a finished goods sourcing strategy and key supplier relationships.
• Lead evaluation and implementation of the supplier base for OEM transitions across product categories.
• Negotiate and manage supplier contracts to achieve cost, quality, delivery and sustainability goals.
• Drive value through strategic sourcing and cost-reduction initiatives; explore innovative supplier arrangements.
• Oversee tendering, budgeting, and supplier performance using KPIs and PPV activities.
• Collaborate with product management, marketing, engineering, and supply chain to align sourcing with business goals.
• Support quality audits and approve new sources to meet Husqvarna quality standards.
• Provide strategic insights to senior leadership through market analysis and risk assessment.
