Job summary

HelloFresh is seeking an experienced Director of People Technology in New York to lead the global People Technology landscape, with Workday at the core. You will shape strategy, operating model, and delivery while driving AI adoption responsibly across the function.

You will partner with People, Technology and Operations leaders to translate needs into a clear technology roadmap, balancing transformation with platform health and user experience.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in People Technology or HR systems.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑disciplinary tech teams across operations, delivery, integrations and specialist domains.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the People Technology strategy and roadmap aligned to business priorities.
• Lead the operating model across Operations, Functional Development, Integrations and Programme Management.
• Ensure Workday and related platforms are stable, secure and fit for purpose.
• Oversee key workforce processes (Time Tracking, Absence, clocking) across distribution centres.
• Partner with Operations to enable reliable frontline execution.
• Define and drive the AI strategy for internal productivity and delivery.
• Identify, prioritise and deliver responsible AI‑enabled solutions for People customers.
• Establish governance for AI use including risk, data protection, adoption and change management.
• Set priorities for major initiatives balancing delivery ambition and platform health.
• Act as senior escalation point for delivery, operational, vendor or system‑risk issues.
• Collaborate with Technology leadership on architecture, security, integrations and data sustainability.
• Represent People Technology in senior leadership and cross‑functional decisions.
