Job summary

Komline is seeking a Director, Operational Excellence to lead the Komline Business System (KBS) and sustain a consistent operating excellence across all sites. You will partner with GMs, Plant Managers and leaders to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and capital, while preserving P&L accountability.

The role requires hands-on Lean leadership, the ability to coach on the shop floor, and the credibility to influence decentralized leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain or Business.
• 10+ years in manufacturing operations, continuous improvement or related leadership roles.
• Proven Lean / CI leadership across multiple sites or business units.
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing, daily management, Kaizen, standard work, and value-stream mapping.
• Ability to influence senior leaders without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead implementation of the KBS Operational Excellence strategy across all sites.
• Lead and develop the CI Manager team with clear site coverage and deployment expectations.
• Partner with GMs and Plant Managers to identify high-impact opportunities and build improvement pipelines.
• Establish common Lean / KBS practices including daily management, visual management, and standard work.
• Drive measurable productivity improvements and quantify benefits with cross-functional teams.
• Provide enterprise-level reporting on CI progress to the COO.
