Sun Life Financial is seeking a Director, Corporate Underwriting Analytics and Digital Risk. This hybrid role partners with Global Underwriting, pricing, and risk teams to redesign mortality/morbidity programs, build compliance tools, and approve high-risk cases.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years experience as an individual Life Underwriter.
• Experience with mortality/morbidity risk assessment.
• Knowledge of AI, risk models, and automated underwriting workflows.

Responsabilités

• Redesign programs to manage mortality and morbidity risk within the underwriting framework.
• Develop performance tools to ensure compliance with Enterprise Underwriting Operating Guideline.
• Provide expert referrals on complex cases and approve high-risk scenarios within authority.
• Lead risk reviews as Second Line of Defense and report non-compliance.
• Collaborate with Global Underwriting, pricing, and reinsurance partners.
