Job summary

Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies (U.S.) is seeking a Director, Scientific Communications (CNS) to lead global medical communications strategy for CNS assets, translating complex data into clear content for healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders.

You will chair cross-functional teams, shape disease-state narratives, and ensure compliant, high-quality materials while partnering with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Regulatory, and Commercial functions.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in science or medicine required.
• 10+ years in Medical Affairs or Scientific Communications.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead global medical communications strategy for CNS assets.
• Chair cross-functional teams to align content, channels and engagement.
• Develop and execute Medical Communication Plans (IMCP).
• Own Scientific Communication Platform, narrative and lexicon.
• Guide content assets: disease education materials and data assets.
• Ensure scientific accuracy, compliance and high-quality output.
• Drive omnichannel, AI-enabled content and digital delivery.
• Lead team development and agency partnerships.
