Proofpoint is seeking a Director of Presales Engineering Excellence and Innovation to lead a global function spanning Sales Engineering, escalation management, field productivity, and product advocacy. The role requires turning executive strategy into durable, scalable operating models, governance, and AI-enabled workflows that improve customer outcomes.

Qualificações

• Over 10 years in Presales Eng./Sales Eng./Technical Consulting roles.
• 5+ years leading technical teams or transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of enterprise cybersecurity sales motions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex escalations across multiple stakeholders.
• Practical fluency with AI-enabled workflows, LLM tooling, and governance models.
• Experience building operating models, intake systems, or enablement libraries.
• Ability to distinguish experiments from production-ready capabilities.
• Strong judgment on data access, least-privilege, and security compliance.
• Excellent written communication for executive updates and runbooks.
• Bias toward durable systems with clear ownership and measurable outcomes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead evolution of escalation strategy and ownership clarity.
• Drive AI-enabled transformation across Presales Eng organization.
• Coordinate complex technical escalations for high-value opportunities.
• Define future PSE model with Sales Eng leadership.
• Build scalable systems for knowledge capture and runbooks.
• Collaborate with Product/Engineering to convert field issues into advocacy.
• Improve support coverage for Data Security and AI security areas.
• Oversee access governance for demos, labs, queues, and approvals.
• Coordinate globally across AMER/EMEA/APJ for coverage and onboarding.
• Mentor senior contributors and scale judgment and guidance.
• Translate AI tooling into governed operating models aligned to customer priorities.
