Job summary

Mapbox is seeking a hands-on Head of Developer Relations to lead our developer engagement efforts globally. You will craft strategy, coach a high-performing team, and partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to advocate for developers and improve the Mapbox platform.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, Developer Evangelism, software engineering, or related field.
3+ years of experience leading or developing others.
Strong people leadership and prioritization skills.
Experience building and executing Developer Relations strategies and programs.

Responsibilities

Own and evolve the Developer Relations strategy for Mapbox and grow developer engagement.
Lead and develop a high-performing Developer Relations team.
Build and nurture a global developer community around Mapbox platform.
Create scalable programs across technical content, community, events, and social channels.
Be hands-on with talks, demos, content, and external representation.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to align priorities.
Define metrics and use data to evaluate program effectiveness and guide investment.
