Job summary

Nscale is seeking a Director of Developer Relations to lead and build how developers discover, learn, build, and scale on our AI infrastructure platform. You will own the global DevRel strategy, from technical content to ecosystem growth, starting in the US and expanding to EMEA and APAC as the function grows.

You'll collaborate with Product Marketing, AI Platform Engineering, and Marketing to define programs, developer journeys, and a high‑impact content engine.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in developer relations, advocacy, technical marketing, or related roles;経験 leading a DevRel function at director level.
• Bachelor's Degree in Machine Learning, Engineering, CS, or related field.
• Strong ML background and cloud infrastructure experience; hands‑on AI workloads at scale.
• Understanding of AI adoption in enterprises, from prototype to production.
• Ability to identify emerging AI trends and translate them into impact content and demos.
• Well connected in AI/ML ecosystem with industry ties and active advocacy.
• Proven communication of complex concepts to developer communities and leadership.
• Data‑driven mindset with metrics for developer adoption and engagement.
• Experience building or running a community or meetup is a plus.
• Comfort with ambiguity and building a function from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the global developer relations strategy across content, community, events, and education.
• Drive developer adoption with self‑serve resources across the journey from discovery to production.
• Build and oversee a developer content engine including docs, samples, demos, tutorials, notebooks, blogs, and videos.
• Represent Nscale in developer ecosystems by speaking at conferences, meetups, and open‑source initiatives.
• Bridge developers and internal teams to surface friction and guide roadmap alignment.
• Launch ambassador programs, open‑source initiatives, and training to grow the developer ecosystem.
• Own developer growth metrics and dashboards in partnership with growth teams.
• Experiment with new formats for developer education and scale successful approaches.
• Define and grow the DevRel team structure and hiring plan.
