Vantive is the Global Software Leader for Acute Products/Devices, and this role leads a multi-site device software engineering team to define and drive software strategy for Acute Care products. You will collaborate with commercial, systems, program management, and Quality & Regulatory leaders to build roadmaps and delivery plans.

Essential duties include owning software strategy, leading the global team, architecting software solutions, and delivering roadmaps across all acute product lines

Formación

• Extensive experience with electro-mechanical devices and device software engineering.
• Deep understanding of global regulatory requirements for medical devices.
• Experience leading a globally distributed team in a matrix organization.
• Strong team-building, talent management, and succession planning skills.
• Proven ability to shape product strategy and software technology across a global business.
• Solid knowledge of regulatory, quality and product development disciplines.

Responsabilidades

• Own product-line software strategy and roadmaps for device software across all acute products.
• Lead global device software team including managers and technical leaders.
• Define and implement architecture strategy with Acute device software leaders and systems leaders.
• Drive execution plans to deliver roadmaps and releases across all Acute product lines.
• Communicate vision and strategy aligned with business and customer needs.
• Establish an organizational structure ensuring accountability and operational excellence.
• Develop and mentor high-performing managers and technical leaders; build succession plans across global sites.
• Provide strategic planning for staffing and project execution with proactive risk management.
• Leverage deep knowledge to drive solutions and product design realization.
• Manage technical and project risk to ensure delivery of commitments.
• Drive post-market software change management, field data analytics, and reliability improvements.
• Embrace agile practices to enable fail-fast learning.
• Foster collaboration across businesses, functions, and external partners.
• Maintain knowledge of Quality System Regulations and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
