Job summary

Deloitte Global seeks a Director of Data Management & AI Readiness to define and lead enterprise data management strategy across key domains, building scalable processes and trusted data assets for analytics, AI, and regulatory needs.

The role partners with executives, architecture, product teams, and operations to set measurable outcomes and governance across geographies, driving alignment and mature data capabilities worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Data Management, Business, or related field; Master's preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in enterprise data management, data governance, data architecture, or related disciplines.
• 7+ years leading global teams and enterprise-scale transformation initiatives.
• Experience with data governance tools such as Informatica, SAP MDG, Collibra, Databricks Unity Catalog, etc.
• Proven leadership of master data, metadata, data quality, taxonomy, or data governance programs as the voice of the business with technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the data management strategy for Master Data Management, Metadata Management, Ontology/Context Management, Data Quality, Taxonomy/Reference Data, and Enterprise Data Models.
• Develop multi-year roadmaps aligned to business priorities and AI enablement goals.
• Establish and evolve enterprise operating models, governance forums, stewardship structures, and accountability frameworks.
• Lead a global team of data management professionals and subject matter experts.
• Design operating models, roles, responsibilities, decision rights, escalation paths, and governance forums.
