Job summary

DP World seeks a Manager, Data Governance to define and implement governance initiatives focused on AI, ML, and advanced analytics. This role ensures data is trusted, compliant, and AI-ready across the organization within the United States.

You will collaborate with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Cybersecurity to embed governance into model development lifecycles. The ideal candidate has strong governance foundations, experience supporting AI use cases, and a track record of managing data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 7+ years in data governance, data management, or enterprise data strategy.
• Experience supporting AI/ML, advanced analytics, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of data lifecycle management, metadata, lineage, and quality frameworks.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
• Experience implementing governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Informatica, Purview, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Define AI-ready data governance strategy and ensure alignment with advanced analytics initiatives.
• Apply responsible AI guidelines focusing on data quality, transparency, and risk awareness.
• Define data ownership and stewardship roles across business domains within the region.
• Ensure privacy, security, and compliance in AI datasets and data handling processes.
• Drive change management, training, and tooling to foster data literacy and AI accountability.
