Job summary

Bentley Systems is seeking a Director, Corporate Crisis & Risk Readiness to own oversight of Bentley’s corporate crisis and enterprise risk management practices. The role partners with Legal, Compliance, IT, Finance, HR, and Investor Relations to identify risks and develop playbooks, simulations, and trainings.

The position is full-time, hybrid (1x per week in Exton, PA), with up to 20% travel, and requires 6–8 years in crisis management plus a strong strategic-to-operational translation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 6–8 years of crisis management, enterprise resilience or risk experience.
• Experience in a technology company and understanding of SEC rules.

Responsibilities

• Lead Bentley’s corporate crisis readiness and enterprise risk practices.
• Identify, build, and maintain crisis enablement tools and resources.
• Collaborate with owners to develop practical risk reduction action plans.
• Design and facilitate multi-tier crisis simulations for leadership.
• Identify and maintain AI monitoring and crisis signal tools.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, IT, Finance, HR, Marketing and Investor Relations.
• Identify and manage vendors and budgets for crisis support.
• Maintain accessible crisis materials and delivery methods.
• Advise on incidents with complex corporate implications.
• Promote preparedness, escalation discipline, and continuous improvement.
