Job summary

Bentley Systems is seeking a Director of Corporate Crisis & Risk Readiness to own the oversight and execution of enterprise risk management practices. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, risk management, public relations, legal studies, security, business continuity, or related field.
• 6-8 years of relevant experience in crisis management, corporate resilience, enterprise risk, business continuity, or related.
• At least 2 years of experience in risk/crisis at a technology company.
• Experience with SEC rules and regulations.
• Ability to translate strategic concepts into operational materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead corporate crisis readiness and enterprise risk practices aligned with business priorities and governance requirements.
• Develop crisis enablement tools and resources for executives and teams.
• Create practical action plans to reduce risk likelihood and impact.
• Design and facilitate multi-tier crisis simulations to improve leadership readiness.
• Build and maintain crisis signal scanning and alert tools such as AI agents.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, IT, Finance, HR, Marketing, Facilities, Investor Relations.
• Manage relationships with consultants and vendors for defense-ready risk approaches.
• Maintain accessible crisis readiness formats, locations, and delivery mechanisms.
• Advise on incidents with complex implications beyond formal crises.
• Promote culture of preparedness, escalation discipline, and continuous improvement.
