Job summary

Jobgether SRL, on behalf of a partner, is seeking a Global Director – Accounts Payable based in the United Kingdom. You will lead the global Procure-to-Pay function, overseeing accounts payable, procurement operations, and financial process governance across countries and entities.

Establish policies, strengthen controls, and drive automation for efficient, compliant processes. You will collaborate with Finance, Legal, Tax, Treasury, IT and Operations to standardize processes, optimize vendor

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.
• Eight+ years in procurement, AP, P2P operations, shared services, or finance leadership.
• Experience managing processes across multiple countries/entities.
• Strong understanding of P2P lifecycle: onboarding, PO, invoice processing, payments.
• Experience with ERP, procurement platforms and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end global Procure-to-Pay operations across multiple countries.
• Develop and enforce global procurement and AP policies and SLAs.
• Strengthen controls over vendor selection, approvals and payments; avoid fraud.
• Drive process centralization, standardization and automation initiatives.
• Oversee ERP-enabled controls, vendor portals and OCR integrations.
• Monitor shared services performance with KPIs and turnaround times.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts with Legal, Tax, Treasury, IT, and Operations.
• Support post-acquisition integration of procurement and AP workflows.
