Job summary

Coptic Orphans in Fairfax, VA invites a visionary Diaspora Engagement Director to lead our new Diaspora & Community Engagement Department. You will shape strategies to keep diaspora communities connected to Egypt across the U.S., Canada, UK, and Australia, launching programs and partnerships that deepen heritage, belonging, and long-term engagement.

As the founding leader, you will design multi-year plans, manage budgets, and build a high-performing team while collaborating with clergy,

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in community engagement or diaspora programming.
• At least 3 years in senior leadership or director capacity.
• Proven ability to design and launch programs from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Lead the new Diaspora & Community Engagement Department across multiple regions.
• Develop multi-year strategy with measurable outcomes and budgets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align diaspora touchpoints.
