International Development Group (IDG) invites motivated students to join our Fall Internship Program in Arlington, VA. The program runs September through December with a hybrid schedule—in-office Tue–Thu, remote Mon, Fri; part-time and full-remote options available.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree or recent graduate with relevant coursework in economics, development, or related areas.
• Submit transcript and a writing sample showing analytical and report-writing skills.
• Minimum of 1 relevant internship experience preferred.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office with strong formatting skills.
• Professional proficiency in other languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for new business development, including writing technical proposals and recruitment tasks.
• Conduct research for bids and capture planning, including client prospecting.
• Assist with program logistics, including travel arrangements, visas, and briefing books.
• Organize documents and archives of IDG programs on SharePoint.
• Support ongoing projects and assist supervisors as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Description

InternationalDevelopment Group LLC (IDG) is seeking highly motivated students as interns tojoin our dynamic Internship Program in the fall months (September through December).Based in IDG's home office in Arlington, VA, our Internship Program offersopportunities to work alongside an energetic group of professionals on projectsdesigned to gain hands-on experience in the rewarding and challengingprofession of international development. Preference will be given to candidateswho are available full-time (40 hours per week) on a hybrid schedule with in-officedays Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and remote on Mondays and Fridays. Parttime and fully remote availability will also be considered for the rightcandidates. Hourly rate is $12.77

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provide support for newbusiness development such as contributing to writing technical proposals, recruitment,and other proposal development tasks.
  
• Conduct research for bids andcapture planning including new client prospecting.
  
• Assist with program logistics,including arrangements for airfare and hotel, visas, meeting schedules,and briefing books for traveling IDG staff and consultants.
  
• Assist in organizing documentsarchives of IDG programs on SharePoint.
  
• Provide support for ongoingprojects.

Requirements

• Students, preferably seeking aMaster's degree or recent graduates of Masters Programs will be considered;applicants should have relevant coursework in economics, economic development,private sector development or related areas.
