Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Design Continuous Improvement Leader to drive DFSS, analytics, and cross‑functional design improvements. You will develop an enterprise CI model, partner across R&D, Quality, Operations, Sales, and Legal, and lead initiatives that speed development, boost quality, and enable profitable growth at the Morikis Global Technology Center in Brecksville, OH.

10% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 8 years of leadership experience in R&D, Quality, Operations, product development, or continuous improvement.
• Experience designing and delivering technical training, mentoring, and coaching leaders.
• Advanced analytical skills incl. DOE, MSA, FMEA, statistics, data visualization.
• Executive-level communication, facilitation, change leadership, and stakeholder influence.
• Experience working across regions or global teams; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the PCG Design Continuous Improvement strategy, roadmap, governance cadence, and measures.
• Lead the global DFSS program, including training curricula, mentoring, certification governance, and regional expansion.
• Institutionalize design quality practices in product development (VOC, House of Quality, DOEs, etc.).
• Partner with business units to identify high-value opportunities and allocate resources.
• Lead strategic customer and product-quality improvement efforts using DMAIC, Lean, Kaizen, and analytics.
• Advance data and analytics solutions using Dataiku, Power Automate, SharePoint, and related platforms.
• Drive measurable improvement in complaint resolution and quality-system programs.
• Establish dashboards and operating reviews for project counts, savings, and risks.
