Adidas Global Engineering in Spartanburg, SC seeks a Senior Distribution Center Solutions & Design Engineer to drive DC design standards, automation, and technology adoption across regions. • Knowledge of DC design and automation concepts.
• Strong data analysis and capacity modelling skills.
• Experience with WMS/WCS/WES architectures.
• Lean/Six Sigma/Kaizen/5S proficiency.
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project skills.

Responsabilidades

• Define and continuously improve global standards for DC design, including facility layout, process design, and automation concepts.
• Develop scalable DC design and automation strategies translating forecasts into robust material flow concepts.
• Drive standardization of MHE, automation, and DC processes across regions.
• Partner with Global NonTrade Procurement on global and regional supplier/tech strategies.
• Lead feasibility studies and business cases for new DC builds, expansions, and automation investments.
• Facilitate the introduction of new DC technologies with regional engineering, IT, and operations.
• Benchmark adidas DC concepts against external best-in-class solutions to ensure continuous innovation.
• Advise regional engineering and DC management during concept design, implementation, and ramp-up.
• Support capital projects from concept through commissioning and handover.
• Contribute to development of the global engineering community with best-practice sharing.
• Identify and evaluate process improvements in layouts, flows, and labour efficiency with fact-based recommendations.
• Evaluate Labour Management systems and work measurement methodologies.
