Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS, Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on SQL and Python experience.
• 5+ years of cloud platform experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• 5+ years of Databricks development and architecture experience.
• Strong data modeling, governance, and security understanding.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and ongoing enhancement of the Databricks data platform for enterprise analytics.
• Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and semi-structured data.
• Develop modern data models, data warehouses, and data marts to support analytics.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and IT to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and platform reliability; optimize performance and cost.
• Provide mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers and promote engineering best practices.
