Job summary

Enstar is seeking a Data Privacy Specialist to join its Global Data Privacy team. The role covers day-to-day privacy advice across the Group, coordinating with teams in the UK and US and across time zones to ensure lawful processing and privacy by design.

You will contribute to PIAs, DPIAs and LIAs, manage data subject rights, and oversee DPAs and international transfers, while staying ahead of regulatory developments. This role is remote with international scope.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of hands-on data privacy experience.
• CIPP/E or CIPM professional qualifications.
• Strong knowledge of UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018; EU GDPR; US or Australian privacy law.
• Broad privacy discipline experience across multiple areas.
• Experience with DSARs and DPIAs.
• Experience negotiating DPAs and transfer mechanisms.
• Experience managing personal data breaches and regulatory notifications.
• Ability to plan and deliver workstreams across time zones.
• Clear written English for policies and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day privacy advice across the Group.
• Coordinate with UK, US and other time zones.
• Maintain ROPA and data maps; support privacy maturiy program.
• Produce PIAs, DPIAs and LIAs; escalate to DPO as needed.
• Advise on data subject rights requests; handle complex cases.
• Review DPAs and international transfer mechanisms.
• Prepare management information for stakeholders.
• Support incident response and breach notification processes.
