Job summary

Fitch Group is seeking a Director, Data Privacy to lead global privacy compliance for customer-facing digital products and services. This role will provide senior-level privacy guidance across cross-functional teams, monitor regulatory changes, and support privacy-by-design initiatives across global digital initiatives.

The position emphasizes collaboration with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Technology, and Product teams, with a hybrid work model in New York, NY.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of global privacy laws and regulatory expectations (EU/UK GDPR, US state privacy laws)
Experience advising privacy compliance for online products and services, website tracking technologies, consent management

Responsibilities

Lead and provide senior-level privacy guidance for customer-facing digital products and services, working with cross-functional teams to identify issues and implement practical solutions.
Provide risk-based privacy advice and recommendations to stakeholders across business, product, marketing, technology, Compliance, Risk and Legal.
Monitor privacy compliance trends and regulatory changes across global digital activities, advising senior stakeholders.
Establish and improve privacy programs for customer-facing digital products and acquired businesses, including privacy-by-design support.
