Job summary

Cummins Inc. seeks a Manager, Data Posture Monitoring to lead enterprise DLP strategy, architecture, and global implementation for a large multinational organization with ~100,000 users across North America, LATAM, Europe, and APAC.

The role oversees DPM program direction across endpoint DLP, email and Microsoft 365 data protection, cloud/SaaS controls, CASB/SSE, network DLP, insider-risk monitoring, and incident response, partnering with data discovery and classification teams.

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years in cybersecurity or related field.
• 5+ years leading enterprise DLP or data-protection programs.
• Experience in large, global enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of endpoint DLP, email protection, cloud data protection, CASB/SSE, network DLP.
• Experience selecting and transforming enterprise DLP technologies.
• Proven ability to design global security architectures and roadmaps.
• Experience aligning security tools with SIEM, SOAR, identity, ITSM, and case-management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise DPM strategy, target-state architecture, and roadmap.
• Lead tool evaluation, proof-of-concept planning, and platform adoption.
• Architect DPM coverage across endpoints, email, cloud, CASB/SSE, and networks.
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into technical capabilities.
• Collaborate with data discovery/classification teams to embed data context into DLP.
• Establish cross-functional execution plans with Security, IT, Legal, Privacy, HR, and Compliance.
• Oversee phased global rollout across regions and business units.
• Define integration requirements with SIEM, SOAR, identity, cloud security, and ITSM.
• Provide senior oversight for major data-loss or insider-risk incidents.
• Develop executive reporting on progress, coverage, and risk reduction.
• Manage program budget, vendors, and implementation partners.
• Recruit and mentor the DLP Manager and team members.
