Job summary

Megaport is seeking a Data Centre Procurement Officer to support data centre strategy, procurement, and commercial activities across the Americas. This role liaises with the Director of Data Centre Strategy and regional colleagues to optimize costs and drive scalable data centre initiatives.

You will analyze business cases, manage supplier negotiations, and help develop the COGS budget while collaborating with Finance and Network teams globally. Remote-first culture with flexible options offered.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and financial skills with budgeting experience.
• Ability to build and evaluate business cases and cost analyses.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
• Comfort reviewing contracts and negotiating with suppliers.
• Ability to work across multiple regions and time zones.

Responsibilities

• Support data centre strategy, procurement, and commercial activities across the Americas.
• Collaborate with Director of Data Centre Strategy and regional teams (EMEA, APAC).
• Prepare business cases for expansion and cost optimization.
• Assist supplier negotiations and manage commercial discussions with operators.
• Contribute to annual COGS budgeting and monthly reporting with insights.
• Maintain procurement records and assist special projects as needed.
