Job summary

Insight Global is seeking Data Center Technician II to support large-scale data center operations, deployments, and critical infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting network, server, and data center infrastructure in live production environments.

The role requires hands-on experience with fiber and copper cabling, network infrastructure, and server installations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in data center, telecom, or IT infrastructure environments.
• Hands-on experience with cabling, hardware installation, equipment replacement, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of structured cabling and data center best practices.
• Troubleshoot Layer 1 and Layer 2 connectivity issues across network and server environments.
• Diagnose and resolve server, hardware, cabling, and connectivity issues in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and support network, server, and data center infrastructure in live production environments.
• Provide Level 2 support to diagnose and resolve hardware, connectivity, and network issues.
• Support rack and stack deployments, structured cabling systems, server installations, and network connectivity.
• Perform incident response activities within enterprise-scale data centers.
