Job summary

TeleWorld Solutions is seeking Data Center Technicians to support fiber, copper, and passive infrastructure deployments throughout the United States. The Level 2 Technician will perform installation, termination, splicing, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation under the direction of a Lead Technician or Project Manager.

This hands-on role travels extensively and may support long-duration, multi-state deployments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on cabling or fiber experience or verified technical training.
• Read installation drawings and cable schedules, document work accurately.
• Competence in termination, splicing, copper certification, OLTS, or OTDR methods.
• Complete TWS knowledge checks and credential requirements before independent assignment.
• CPR/First Aid, Level 1/site safety training, electrical safety and LOTO awareness.
• Ability to travel extensively and pass background screening.

Responsibilities

• Read current drawings, BOMs, cable schedules, and work instructions; confirm cable identity, endpoints, materials, and task readiness.
• Install enclosures, panels, cassettes, and cable supports; route, dress, protect, and label cabling.
• Terminate and certify copper permanent links using compatible components and test settings.
• Prepare and terminate fiber; perform single-fiber and ribbon fusion splicing per documented qualification.
• Inspect and clean connectors, verify polarity against approved maps; record results.
• Troubleshoot cabling faults, complete corrections and retests; submit turnover records.
• Travel extensively and complete client-required background screening and onboarding.
