Job summary

Corning Incorporated's Optical Communications division seeks a Product Line Manager to lead the global shuffles product line — including modules, panels, and harnesses — within the Data Center Business Unit.

This role owns the full product lifecycle, from strategy and go-to-market planning through commercialization, pricing, and financial performance, with direct impact on one of Corning's high-growth global product lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Business.
• 5+ years of experience in product line management, engineering, manufacturing, or commercial/marketing.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
• Experience developing product strategies, roadmaps, and long-range plans.
• Ability to collaborate with Design/Technology and Manufacturing Engineering teams.
• Strong analytical skills with a working understanding of financial statements and P&L drivers.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal) to present complex topics clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional product teams to develop market-driven product line strategies.
• Own the full product lifecycle — development, commercialization, pricing, and profitability.
• Develop business cases for new products, extensions, and enhancements.
• Drive financial performance through forecasting, pricing, and capacity planning with Operations.
• Mentor and develop product team members, building talent pipeline.
