Job summary

Meta designs, builds, and operates advanced data centre infrastructure at scale. We seek a Data Center Development Manager to join Global Site Development, driving site selection, permitting, and timely delivery of a scalable data centre portfolio.

You will lead entitlements, diligence, risk analysis, and cross-functional coordination with legal, tax, finance, network, and operations teams, traveling 25–50% to ensure on-time, compliant project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of site development or large-scale infrastructure project experience.
• Experience managing multiple projects with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience with a range of project management tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Drive the entitlements process (zoning, land use permitting) to meet project timelines.
• Lead diligence and development process to vet prospective sites and assess risks and opportunities.
• Organize communications and track progress with internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.
• Support the preparation of project recommendations for management approval.
• Support development of Meta's near and long-term data centre location strategy.
