Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks a Program Manager to drive data center cabling strategy and optimization across global infrastructure.

This role blends tactical execution with strategic program management and cross-functional leadership to ensure reliable, cost-efficient cabling across data centers worldwide. The ideal candidate brings strong communication, a track record of driving process improvements with data, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while delivering clear execution plans

Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience.
• Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
• Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
• Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Lead executive-level reporting on program health, delivering root-cause analysis and actionable insights that drive cabling infrastructure optimization decisions.
• Pioneer scalable, data-driven process improvements and automated solutions that transform how AWS manages its data center cabling portfolio.
• Manage competing priorities across multiple programs, navigating dependencies, trade-offs, and critical path decisions to deliver site-level cabling execution plans.
• Build program mechanisms that monitor and escape against the health of cable strategy and implementation plans for critical projects.
• Unite cross-functional teams — including project delivery, networking, infrastructure, and global decommissioning — around a shared execution vision across multiple time zones.
