Job summary

Amazon Web Services is seeking an Architect to join a global engineering team, responsible for the implementation and technical evaluation of our designs and the continuous innovation of our rapidly expanding data center footprint.

You will work with Principal and Architectural teams to drive standardization of designs across production data centers, and write technical documentation for projects while collaborating with utilities, manufacturers, vendors and contractors worldwide.

Qualifications

• Experience designing large-scale, reliable data center systems.
• Ability to lead cross-functional design reviews with multiple groups.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Architect and evaluate designs for AWS data centers and related infra.
• Standardize designs across global regions and collaborate with internal/external teams.
• Produce clear technical documentation and participate in ongoing R&D of new tech.
