Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Senior IT Manager – Global Data and Analytics to accelerate business value through Data, Analytics, AI, and GenAI across Abbott Diabetes Care. You will serve as a strategic advisor, bridging business strategy with execution and fostering a product-centric data delivery model.

The role requires deep technical data expertise, product mindset, and strong stakeholder leadership to scale data products, governance, and modern data platforms globally across functions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Data & Analytics leadership roles across data engineering, architecture, analytics, governance, and data management.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale data/analytics solutions and driving data strategy.
• Strong ability to partner with senior business leaders and translate priorities into scalable data/analytics initiatives.
• Experience operating across complex, matrixed organizations with cross-functional collaboration.
• Deep knowledge of modern data architectures and cloud analytics ecosystems (Databricks, Snowflake, AWS).
• Hands-on data governance, metadata management, and data quality practices across domains.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted Data & Analytics leader enabling data, analytics, AI, and GenAI initiatives to drive business value.
• Build partnerships across Commercial, Marketing, R&D, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and other functions.
• Define data product opportunities, prioritize roadmaps, and govern data products to achieve measurable outcomes.
• Lead Data Product discovery, visioning, roadmaps, lifecycle management, and value realization through KPIs.
