Job summary

Abbott’s Senior IT Manager – Global Data and Analytics in Alameda, CA leads data, analytics, AI and GenAI initiatives for Abbott Diabetes Care. You’ll partner with Commercial, Marketing, R&D, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and IT to drive value through data products and governance.

You bring 10+ years in data leadership, deep experience with Databricks, AWS and modern lakehouse architectures, and a proven ability to scale Data Product delivery in a global matrix.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in Data & Analytics leadership roles.
• Experience driving data strategy, architecture, governance and delivering enterprise-scale solutions.
• Strong partner for senior leaders in a complex matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead Data & Analytics strategy across Abbott Diabetes Care.
• Establish and scale the Data Product delivery model.
• Champion Data Mesh principles across domains.
• Oversee data engineering, platform excellence and governance.
• Provide technical guidance on scalable, secure data solutions.
