Job summary

Google.org’s Stronger Communities team is seeking a Global Cybersecurity Manager in Chicago, IL to lead the team’s cybersecurity strategy and help drive grantmaking and program effectiveness across regions.

You will shape and execute Google.org’s cybersecurity direction, develop measurable goals and grant roadmaps, and serve as a central point of contact for the cybersecurity portfolio, with AI-enabled workflows to accelerate evaluation and portfolio synthesis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program or project management.
• 5 years of experience managing cross-functional projects involving AI-augmented workflows or emerging technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global cybersecurity portfolio strategy, including measurable goals and grant roadmaps, and act as the central point of contact for cybersecurity grantmaking.
• Build strategic global programs and partnerships across the philanthropic sector, including AI-enabled defense tools.
• Drive AI-enabled operational efficiency by integrating AI-assisted research and diligence workflows to accelerate grant evaluation, landscape mapping, and portfolio synthesis.
• Build and lead a global community of practice to enable knowledge sharing, and track program effectiveness and ecosystem resilience with data analytics.
• Serve as the primary liaison for global Policy, Security, Communications, and Marketing to support high-profile program launches and external storytelling.
