Job summary

Ascot Group’s Cybersecurity team seeks a hands-on Cyber Offense Analyst to strengthen our security posture. You will act on vulnerability discovery, testing, and remediation, applying AI-enabled insights to improve decision-making and outcomes.

You will work in a hybrid office setting, collaborating with cross-functional teams to reduce risk while guiding security best practices across platforms and environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS, software engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years in application or network security.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for identifying and addressing security vulnerabilities.
• Experience with offensive security and vulnerability management tools.
• Experience using AI-assisted security tooling.
• Knowledge of security risks in generative AI and ML systems.
• Ability to consult across application, infrastructure, and network teams.
• OSCP/PNPT/CEH or equivalent preferred.
• Understanding of OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK, CVSS/CVE.
• Experience with cloud security and vulnerability processes.
• Ability to automate offensive workflows using scripting.

Responsibilities

• Perform cyber offense functions including vulnerability scanning and penetration testing coordination across Ascot Group.
• Assist in delivering a comprehensive offensive security strategy with identified vulnerabilities.
• Assist in implementing best-in-class solutions and tooling for cyber offense objectives.
• Manage vulnerability detection, patch management activities, and application security program support.
• Support penetration testing, purple and red team exercises with remediation planning.
• Coordinate penetration testing activities and perform trials to pinpoint vulnerabilities.
• Integrate security best practices into secure development lifecycle.
• Build metrics from vulnerability data to track risk reduction.
• Research new tactics and communicate findings to security leadership.
• Collaborate with resilience and defense teams on indicators of compromise.
