Job summary

Global Merchandising Services Inc. is seeking a Production Manager to own all cut and sew and accessories production for Retail programs, from PO receipt to final delivery.

You will coordinate with overseas and Mexico factories, manage timelines, inspections, and international shipments to the Anaheim warehouse. The role requires strong vendor relationships, problem-solving under deadlines, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Docs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in apparel or accessories production, including cut and sew.
• Direct experience working with international factories and managing international production timelines.
• Working knowledge of inspection, testing and compliance processes, including third party inspection platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end production for cut and sew and accessories orders, from PO receipt through final delivery.
• Issue production WIP reports to factories twice monthly and maintain accurate status across all open orders.
• Manage production timelines and extensions, escalating delays before ship windows are at risk.
• Respond to factory questions and resolve production issues as they arise.
• Oversee PO issuance and trim ordering completed by the Production Coordinator.
• Review packaging and retailer compliance requirements and respond to compliance queries.
