Job summary

Mad Engine Global is seeking an experienced Director of Import Production to lead our global apparel production operations across an extensive network of overseas factories and vendors. This role oversees high-volume programs from development handoff through bulk production, international shipment, and final retail delivery.

Own production calendars, WIP & critical-path execution; oversee production through international shipment & retail delivery; drive costing, margins, landed cost & vendor

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive apparel production experience with import production.
• Direct experience managing high-volume apparel production for major retailers.
• 5+ years of people-management experience.
• Deep knowledge of garment construction, textiles, quality & compliance.
• Extensive experience working with overseas factories, vendors & agents.
• Strong costing, calendars, POs, WIP & vendor performance.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation & problem-solving skills.
• Experience with licensed apparel and global sourcing is valued.
